Our second full day of touring the island by bus we visited the West side of the island. Today we visited Chamarel, Black River Gorges National Park, Le Morne and the beaches at Flic en Flac. This picture is at Charmarel colored earths, it is a natural phenomenon due to decomposed basalt into clay forming these interesting gullies. We ended the day with a biryani party at Auntie’s Marie Clare house and helped celebrate Jimmy and hers 35th wedding anniversary.
